She is a visionary entrepreneur who started the venture as a means to bring the timeless art of her hometown Phulia to the connoisseurs of authentic luxury handwoven sarees in Kolkata and beyond. Anamika Saree inspired and sustained three generations of artisan weavers in the weaving community of Phulia and neighbouring towns in the Nadia region of Bengal, an area known around the world for its exquisite textile tradition.
